If you support the aims of End Prostitution Now then here are some ways in which you can help to make a difference.
Contact your elected representatives
Write to your local and national elected members, or visit their constituency surgeries, to express your concern at the harm caused by prostitution, the negative impact on gender equality, and the need for legislation to be introduced to criminalise the purchase of sex in any setting.
You may also wish to consider writing to Ministers, for example:
Contribute comments to online articles and discussions about prostitution and trafficking. Consider writing to your local newspaper and/or contacting local radio to highlight the importance of Scotland tackling harm caused through prostitution and other forms of commercial sexual exploitation.
Find out more about the system of prostitution and how it undermines gender equality. Check out our Links section for similar campaigns and other useful information.
Speak to family, friends and colleagues about the EPN campaign and the need to tackle the harms of prostitution. Challenge attitudes which glamorise prostitution or portray it as “just another job”.
Consider donating to a service or organisation which supports people affected by prostitution, and/or works to raise awareness about commercial sexual exploitation..
